La artista de Jive/Zomba Britney Spears anuncia que su sexto album de estudio tendrá como nombre "Circus" y saldrá a la venta el proximo 2 de Diciembre. El primer sencillo del album tiene como nombre "Womanizer" y fue producido por The Outsyders. La fecha de salida del disco coincide con el cumpleaños de Britney !

Despues de estar en la cima de los VMA´s, donde Britney salio triunfadora con 3 premios en sus manos por "Video del Año", "Mejor Video Femenino" y "Mejor Video Pop", Jive Records esta preparando su ultimo disco, "Circus", un seguimiento del anterior disco de Britney

"Blackout", el cual recibio buenas criticas. Para su ultimo esfuerzo, Britney ha selecionado a un grupo de productores y escritores que incluyen a Dr. Luke (quien escribio y produjo "Circus", el cual quedo como titulo del disco), Danja, Bloodshy & Avant y Guy Sigsworth (quien ha trabajado con Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bjork).

Britney Spears es una de las cantantes que mas discos a vendido en la ultima decada, Britney ha vendido mas de 62 millones de discos en todo el mundo, sus anteriores trabajos fueron, "Baby One More Time" (1999), "Oops!...I Did It Again" (2000), "Britney" (2001), "In The Zone" (2003) y "Blackout" (2007).
